1474-80 - Florence - Female Garment (Brown Gamurra)

Yes, another placeholder! This one with a bit of content

most of the inspiration for this dress comes from this one painted between 1474 and 1480. The portrait is of Ginevra de' Benci who was a Florentine (ie, from Florence in Italy) noble woman, she was married in 1474 when she was 16. I have also seen this painting dated at 1475, 1464-76, 1478-1480, 1476, 1474-78 etc.

Working on some placeholders!

(no subject)

Ok, so this place got abandoned due to life getting busy for a little awhile then me promptly fogetting about it at all, and then when remembering thinking I'd forgotten about it for too long to get back to it unless I had a heap of time, so now with deadlines approaching and less time than I've had for a while (but more free time than I had while painting my tent) I have decided to get back to the project.

So, hope for some updates!
